God listens very carefully
to every single thought you make.
But not many people know
how simple God is.
And how He gets so confused
by your many and varied intentions.
It’s like unraveling string.
And he’s quite likely to give up
and hand it straight back to you.
So, why not decide exactly
what it is your heart truly desires.
And send this out
on the wing of a single thought.
Then see what Miracle
comes flying back to you.

You and Me
You and I are one.
The you of you flows seamlessly into the me of me,
Yet here and there are islands half-perceived, hidden,
A feeling of treasure lost in childhood.
Was it a pained look, a sharp word
That buried the you of you and the me of me?
Let’s play.
Let’s use the building blocks of our love,
Let’s recreate the bridges of our self-acceptance,
Joining our islands and reclaiming the treasure of you and me
And we are one again, yet more so.
