Retreats for Women
Retreats give you time out from a busy schedule. They offer the opportunity for deep relaxation, self-healing and a chance to reflect on your lifestyle. Many of us lead very stressful lives and we do not give ourselves the chance, either to rest, or to review what might need changing to reduce stress in our lives.
We have often lost touch with our ability to relax and with our internal intuitive resources. A retreat gives you the chance to stop as you are guided into stillness and relaxation. This facilitates access to your own innate source of wisdom, a place where you can find supportive answers to any current dilemmas.

Meditation and Walking Retreat for Women - North Cornwall
The Bluff Centre, nr Tintagel, North Cornwall
Dates to be arranged for 2012
Are you in need of rest, recuperation and re-vitalisation? We still have places available on this Retreat in September. Experience deep relaxation in a beautiful venue by the sea. Restore your energy and revitalise your body, mind and spirit. Enjoy meditating and walking in peaceful and spectacular North Cornwall coastal scenery. Explore your creativity and have fun through guided workshops. Watch the sun set over the sea while enjoying delicious home cooked food and like minded company.
Bluff Centre is stunningly located on the North Cornish coastal path at Treknow near Tintagel. It has the most spectacular views looking west over the coastal cliffs and sea. Originally a study centre, it has recently been refurbished to a very high standard as a guest house and the artistic interior reflects the beautiful scenery surrounding the house. The owners, Marianne and Charlie are delightful and dedicated hosts who create a truly welcoming and charming environment for their guests. Marianne's cooking is excellent and she has designed a varied and delicious menu for us. We will have exclusive use of the venue and the retreat will be full board for 4 nights including breakfast, packed lunch and dinner and the price of £350 also includes all refreshments during the day and all activities.
You will be able to choose from a programme of meditation, relaxation, creativity workshops and walks. The meditation programme is suitable for all levels and if you are a beginner this will be an excellent introduction and if you already meditate this will help you to deepen your practice. There will be a short walk each day of between 3-4 miles and of moderate difficulty. These will include both coastal and moorland walking. We have discovered that the combination of meditation and walking encourages you to feel relaxed and also energised.
Gillian has successfully run several previous residential retreats. She will be joined by her colleague Sheila Jolly, a teacher and artist, who will be facilitating two optional fun sessions on exploring your creativity. No artistic experience necessary! These workshops will provide opportunities for your individual heart songs to energise themselves. We will allow creativity to arise and flow within each of us using a variety of materials (provided). Working this way releases any inhibitions we may feel about our own ‘artistic’ endeavours and will enable beautiful results.
Included in our walks will be visits to places of special interest such as Tintagel castle (the legendary birthplace of King Arthur), the oldest stone circle in England called Fernacre on Bodmin Moor and a magical hidden waterfall, St. Nectan's Kieve. During the walks we will be including time for meditative walking, reflection and tuning in to the energies of our beautiful surroundings to both cleanse and support our Being.
Sheila Jolly is also an Accredited Journey Therapist and together we will create a loving and practical embrace for you to completely relax, unwind, be yourself and become refreshed by the supportive and lively energies of the Cornish landscape. .

The 'F' Factor - Awakening the Deep Feminine
One Day Workshop
Dates to be arranged for 2012
As women we carry immeasurable grief living in a dualistic, competitive, non-intuitive world that offers little of the innate feminine—beauty, harmony, unconditional support, soft all-seeing wisdom.
How can we balance this worldly reality with the Matriarchal lineage within us that yearns to express and share? How can we guide our children, our families, and the world toward this softer, more cooperative, and deeply spiritual reality?
How can we feel this ourselves?
The understanding we need to integrate our worlds comes from the connection to our own Divine Feminine Essence.
Our Journey together will explore and deepen the embrace of Feminine Archetypal Energy by calling upon Mother Mary, Mary Magdalene, Sophia and Others, creating a Sisterhood of Love and Compassion in which we all participate. As we share this embrace with the women present we anchor this into our bodies, opening our Feminine Essence to flow into our lives, effortlessly guiding and supporting ourselves and others.
Venue: Little St. Michael’s Retreat House, Chalice Well, Chilkwell Street, Glastonbury, Somerset, BA6 8DD See above for description of the venue. To book a place contact Gillian on 07867 542456 / 01372 722816 or e-mail gillie_lenane1@hotmail.com
